| | Northeast Pekingese Rescue
Northeast Pekingese Rescue Inc, is a 501(c)(3) Not for Profit Corporation established in 1999. NEPR, Inc. was founded to rescue unwanted Pekingese from kill shelters and voluntary surrenders. The Pekingese that enter our program are temporarily placed in dedicated and loving foster homes until a forever home can be found. The dogs are fully vetted, spayed/ neutered and are temperament evaluated.

The Pekinese is not generally thought of as a dog for children, and while older children may do fine with the breed, the Pekinese generally does not get along as well with younger children.
