Papillon 911 Rescue and Adoption,Inc., is a charitable organization created to rescue Papillons and Papillon mixes nationwide. We will supply food, shelter and loving attention plus medical and dental care to all Papillons in need. We will rescue and shelter any Papillon or Papillon mix abandoned in a kill shelter or from an owner who is unable to care for the Papillon.

| | The Papillon: Big Dog in a Toy Body
The Papillon is one of the oldest toy dog breeds, dating back to the 14th century. Once known as the Toy Spaniel, it is today sometimes called the Continental Toy Spaniel. “Papillon” is French for butterfly, and with its erect large ears and unique facial coloring, it is not hard to see the resemblance.
