While there are many beautiful breeds of cat in the world, the Havana Brown has to be one of the most unique and striking. Perhaps the most striking feature of this beautiful feline is its wonderful mahogany brown coat. The breed is also one of the most personable of all cat breeds, and they simply love to travel, whether by car, motor home or even by airplane. These cats simply love to be where people are, and this makes them wonderful pets and treasured companions.
The Havana Brown is also known for its adaptability and its high intelligence. Due to their high intelligence and curious inquisitive nature, the breed needs lots of stimulation, and they should not be left alone for long periods. The breed loves to have plenty of other companions, including humans, cats, dogs and other pets in order to keep its curiosity aroused and itself entertained.
Even though the Havana Brown may look like a lithe and lightweight cat, in fact they have a surprising heft and weight. This medium sized cat should be firm and muscular, with a substantial build and a marked gracefulness. The males generally weigh in at eight to ten pounds, while the female Havana Brown averages six to eight pounds.
